The Buzzzzzy Bee

Well well well, haven't I been a busy bee this week?! Yes, I have!! Deadlines are driving me crazy. And that means less time to catch up with Dexter, or "socializing" in any kind of way. Heck, I don't even have time for guitar lately. But it's alright, being busy doing assignment really makes me feel wonderful cuz, hey, I'm being very productive these days and I get to keep my brain busy with more useful activities.

All I can say is after the first deadline is over, we deserve some real celebration! Not popping Buddy kind of celebration, popping champagne and planning Paris trip kind of celebration. Well, at least let me have a little fun before I have to worry about two other deadlines which are only getting closer by each passing minute.

Anyway, going back to Dexter and his twisted agony. For those of you who can't wait to blow up the roof on the weekend, go nuts people!!

Party people, hey, it's Friday night!!

My Friday is finally here! I had a Dexter marathon til 6 a.m., and woke up perfectly energetic on the next morning, because we're watching New Moon!! Yay!! And it's the first time I'm going to the cinema since I came here, so I was pretty excited!!

Team Edward!!

Anyway, I'm not gonna spoil the story for those who haven't watched or read it. All I can say is it's way better than the first one. The story flows better, and it looks more polished. Even Fenny and May who didn't read the book and didn't watch the first one could follow it nicely. You should hear the "ooooh" and "ahhh" in the cinema when Jacob took off his shirts. It was hilarious! And I couldn't stop giggling when Bella looked into Edward's eyes and asked him to kiss her. K-Stew's signature acting skills, spaced out look and monotonous dialogue. Ugh, lucky bitch!

We headed to Frankie & Benny's for lunch afterward. Not bad at all, but it kinda hurt my pocket. Once in a while, can lahhh!! But it means I'll be eating Indomie for the rest of the week. Hah!

Then I rushed back to watch Grey's Anatomy final episode for this year. I can't believe I have to wait until freaking 2010 for the next episode. Sucks!!! Urgh!! And it's not like this episode is worth the wait!! I'm so pissed off. What the hell were they thinking by squeezing 3 holidays into a 45 minutes show?! Some more, the story is sloopy, messy, boring, and a pure insult to the actors. But love Sara Ramirez singing though. Priceless.

Anyway, the other day we were watching 2012 together. And it was utterly boring and the acting was horrible, we started to lose interest and talked among ourselves, even made jokes about the story line and the plot. We kept waiting for John Cusack to appear but he never did. We started to wonder if it's the correct movie, but we remembered the title "2012" appeared on the opening credit, so we just bear with it. Only in the last 15 minutes, we were convinced that it wasn't 2012, it was....

2012: Doomsday

Someone downloaded the wrong movie, and we sat through one and a half hour without realizing we were watching the wrong movie! Moral of this story: Go to the freaking cinema! Lol. But don't worry, we'll still getting our movies from torrent. Mama needs her ciggy.

Anyway, Saturday is coming. Translation, X-Factor and the terrible twins!! For now, back to Dexter!

Good weekend overyone.

Dexter, Without Deedee

My new guilty pleasure...
A serial killer who kills serial killers...
What a plot!

Yeah, I know the show has ran for quite a while now,
but I only found out about it after my Celebrity Culture lecture about serial killers...

Absolutely love it!

Bright Sunshiny Day!

Oh boy, did my day started well!!

It always freaks the shit out of me to wake up in the freezing morning... But look at the size of the sun out there!! Lovely!! And it made my day!! Even if I have to walk back and forth twice to uni today!!

3 more days to GA and New Moon!! How awesome is that??

Hope you're having a bright sunshiny day too! =)

Love,

About the Truth

"Here's to the truth about the truth.
It hurts. So we lie."

Well said by Meredith Grey, or at least the writer of the show. I know I've been quoting a lot from the series, that's because I've been watching it back to back for these past few days. Next week is gonna be the last episode for this year, so let me indulge in it.

Ok, back to my point. The Truth.

Aren't we all big on this? I mean, you hear people talking about it all the time. I want to hear the truth. Don't lie. Lying is bad. Yada yada. But you know what? You can ask them to suck it cuz nobody does that and nobody wants to hear it anyway.

I guess the answer is simple. We all are fucking cowards. Once we know the truth, we either have look at the truth right in the eyes, or we'll shrink inside our own shells and hope it all will eventually go away. Which one do you choose more often than the other?

We don't often tell it to other people either. Somehow we were built with this "words filtering machine". It enables us to "repackage" our words nicely before throwing it on some others' faces. Which is good, we learn not to talk out of our asses, not to offend, and generally speaking, be considerate towards other people's feeling.

I think that is necessary when you live in a close circle, when your everyday lives revolve around each other. The truth is better sealed tight in a box and thrown under the bed. There's no need to cause additional friction more than what's inevitable. Don't you think?

Besides, truth is subjective, isn't it? What might be true to you might be a lie to other people. I've had that a lot, and I called them a bunch of fucking liars. See?

Anyway, emotional fatigue - anger and betrayal. But mostly anger and betrayal. Gotta sleep it off. I'm seeing bumpy roads ahead, as always. But no worries, I still have Austen's "Sense & Sensibility" that I've never quite managed to finish and I'm thinking of doing a little home-work-out. Yeah, I'll see how long it's gonna last this time.

Night! *Or morning, it's 4.48 a.m.*

"I've heard that it’s possible to grow up, I've just never met anyone who’s actually done it. Without parents to defy, we break the rules we make for ourselves. We throw tantrums when things don’t go our way. We whisper secrets with our best friend, in the dark. We look for comfort where we can find it. And we hope against all logic, against all experience, like children, we never give up hope."

Friday So In Love With GA!

Friday is around the corner!! Big YAY!!

Why am I so excited about Friday?? Because it's the time when Grey's Anatomy newest episode will be uploaded on torrent sites... Hah!! I know it sounds pathetic that it's the only thing that can get me excited for the weekends, but hey, we're cutting budget for our Christmas trip here... Paris and London don't come cheap during that big holiday...

Besides, the freakishly absurd cold weather only gives me another excuse to stay indoor... Yeah, even as an excuse not to attend classes... Haha... Every morning I literally have to give myself a pep talk to get out of bed and drag my ass to cycle to uni... I hate the cold weather!! And I mean it!! It freezes my fingers that I have to blow dry them before I play guitar... Sucky sucky~

Anyway, things haven't gone very well too back home... And it bums me out that I can't be there during this crisis for my parents... All these things have turned me into one of those girls who get all emotional and loses control over their head... Urgh, hate it when I'm looking at my glass half-empty...

Well, haven't been out since Halloween now... So, not much pictures to upload... Maybe by the end of the month we'll piss all of our money away... =)

Tsk, time for another rerun of Grey's...
Love the last episode... But love Calzone more!!
*Note to writers: Callie and Arizona showing affection to each other does not equal to lesbian porn. Stop being such a prude!*

Nites!
